COVID-19 AR SIM

COVID-19 AR SIM aims to inform the user about the ripple effects of the spread of COVID-19 through a choose-your-own adventure experience. I made it to reflect the ways in which people respond to the crisis and to their government-enforced restrictions. In-game, the user must tap and choose both 2D and 3D assets to further their narrative. Each day or “prompt” announces a significant event that has happened in our reality with COVID-19; it is in chronological order but skips to days that brought major headlines. My project is for people who are curious about the timeline of COVID-19, especially from the perspective of someone living in the US. It is also for people who are interested in AR and interactive narrative experiences.
